The Kent State Alumni Ski & Snowboard Club was co-founded by Andrew Shepherd and Mark Wolterman, originating from the Kent State University Ski & Snowboard Club. After graduation, the mission was simple: keep the crew together and keep shredding the gnar.
Since our first annual trip to Telluride Mountain in 2022, we've taken alumni to some of the best mountains in the country — Crested Butte, Aspen/Snowmass, and Jackson Hole among them. We partner with OutsideLife to put together an all-inclusive package at a price that's genuinely hard to beat anywhere else.
Our trip is open to all Kent State alumni, their friends, and family. You handle your flight, we handle the rest. Whether you are a seasoned shredder or clicking into bindings for the first time, you will find your people here.
The Kent State University Alumni Ski & Snowboard Club hosts the premier annual ski trip for Kent State graduates and Ohio alumni. Founded in 2022, our group travels to world-class mountain destinations each January — Telluride, Aspen, Jackson Hole, and beyond — with an all-inclusive package through OutsideLife. Whether you're a lifelong Flasher or a friend tagging along, the KSU annual ski trip is the best way to stay connected on the slopes. Join the Ohio alumni who've made this their favorite winter tradition.
